Dean Kamen founded Segway Inc. in 1999, which created and designed the Segway PT (Personal Transporter). Now Segway will partake on a new journey that will go further beyond than any personalized motor vehicle ever could.

REBRANDING OBJECTIVE

The new Segway will thrive more in its original mission in travel but in a more versatile and resourceful direction; rather it be used as a expedient vehicle accessible to everyone, it will be a service that arranges commodities that makes travel from long distances more comfortable and efficient. Segway
will partner up with Via Transportation (a global transit tech company) and use Via’s transit system to make
a customized route platform that’s able to operate multiple travel and commission services, being more efficient in the travel time and experience for the user.

DIFFERENTIATOR/USP

The unique selling point for Seqway was its revolutionary design, simply/easy operation, endorsement representatives, depictions in movies (mostly involved in malls), and its public appearances driven by officials. Though not much as been sold during its launch, over time popularity of it began to surge in crowds involving tours and law enforcement. To this day, Segway is known to everyone to this day
as the invention that was ahead of its time, but had
no clear direction.
